Sifteo Cubes

Sifteo Cubes is an interactive game platform developed by David Merrill and Jeevan Kalanithi at the MIT Media Lab. The sistem comes with 3 cubes, but it is possible expand the set up to 12 cubes. Each cubes has a full-color clickable LCD screen, a precision 3-axis accelerometer to respond to motion, different proximity sensors to detect nearby cubes and a wireless radio to communicate with the Sifteo Base.

The cubes can interact with each other when they are shaken, tilted, rotated and places adjacent to one another.

Sifteo cubes are designed to enforce spatial reasoning, learning and logical skills, for this reason are recommended for use in schools.
