Looking on the Internet I found this particular project.
Sifteo Cubes is an interactive game developed by David Merril and Jeevan Kalanithi at the MIT Media LAb. The game is composed by different blocks with screens that interact with each other.
Each cube includes these technologies:
- Precision 3-axis accelerometer to respond to motion
- Touch sensitive screen
- Proximity sensors to detect nearby cubes
- Full color TFT LCD Display
- 2.4 GHz wireless radio to communicate with the Sifteo base
- Some pretty insane firmware and electronics to make all this possible!
When you purchase this game you receive only 3 cubes but you can expand your set to 12 cubes.
I believe that this kind of technology would be perfect to help dyslexic children and I thought about how and if it could be implemented to help them.
